Ottawa, Canada - November 05, 2001 – SK8 Wireless Technologies Inc., an innovative company specializing in business to consumer wireless internet solutions, announced today the introduction of preferred rankings within the internet and wireless internet taxi listings of their popular sites TakeaTaxi.ca and TakeaTaxiUSA.com.
For a small fee, taxi service providers are given the opportunity to
occupy a Gold, Silver or Bronze Ranking within ahead
of the general alphabetic taxi listings. This offers a greater
likelihood that customers will choose these top-ranked taxi services.
TakeaTaxi.ca is a bilingual wireless website offering users a listing of
taxi services for all cities in Canada, while TakeaTaxiUSA.com offers US
taxi listings. The sites are
accessible through all internet-enabled cell phones, wireless palm pilots,
as well as the conventional World Wide Web.
Useful information for organizing a way home after a night out, the
taxi listings are sorted by city and province, and have a one-touch
dialing feature. The TakeaTaxi.ca wireless site is also available
directly through the mobile browsers offered on phones from Bell
Mobility, Telus Mobility, Aliant, and Sasktel
in Canada.
